The 11th Annual International Forum on Economic Development and Public Policy (AIFED)

Fiscal Policy Agency Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia is pleased to invite you to attend the 11th Annual International Forum on Economic Development and Public Policy (AIFED) to be held in Nusa Dua Bali on 6 – 7 December 2022.

AIFED is an annual Ministry of Finance forum which brings together policymakers, academics, economists, and the private sector to engage in a high-level discussion on critical economic development issues. The main objective of the forum is to gain insight that will help the government of Indonesia in formulating policies to support sustainable development. The outcomes of the events have become insightful substances to set the context of the national macroeconomic framework for the government’s budget.

The topic of the 11th AIFED is “Post-Pandemic Economic Policy: Coping with Uncertainties and Seizing New Growth Opportunities.” Through this event, we would like to establish discussion and explore ideas regarding opportunities for Indonesia to sustain the post-pandemic recovery and steer the economy toward strong, sustainable, balanced, & inclusive growth. 

For the 11th AIFED event this year, several prominent speakers will also be present to provide views on the AIFED theme, in addition to the Minister of Finance, who will deliver a Keynote Speech, and the Vice Minister of Finance who will join in the Special Session: Executives' Talk. Speakers who have been confirmed to attend are, but not limited to:

  • Stephen Jones PSM, Assistant Treasurer and Minister for Financial Services
  • Victoria Kwakwa, Regional Vice President for Easter and Southern Africa, World Bank
  • Dino Patti Djalal, Founder, FPCI Indonesia
  • I Wayan Koster, Governor of Bali
  • Muhammad Toha, Head of Suka Makmur Village, Central Kalimantan
