Politeknik AKA Bogor is vocational universities under the Ministry of Industry has a vision: To become an excellent and Globally Competitive Industrial Vocational College in the Chemical Industry and its applications by 2030. To realize the vision above, Politeknik AKA Bogor has a mission: To carry out applied research for problem-solving in priority industrial sectors. Lecturer research is not only encouraged to solve industrial problems but also implemented in learning to create reliable human resources.

To support the dissemination of research results that have been carried out, the National Seminar on Industrial and Applied Chemistry (SNKIT) was held.

The National Seminar on Industrial and Applied Chemistry (SNKIT) of the AKA Bogor Polytechnic will be held for the first time in 2022. The national seminar will collaborate with several industries with the Politeknik AKA Bogor. Collaboration and creating an ecosystem for research development and its application in industry was our objective.

This SNKIT will be held on 1st December, 2022. Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) developed the progress of a nation, both aspects of human resources (HR), science and technology innovation, and economic development. Human resources with competencies based on STEM will encourage various innovations that could be applied in the industry and accelerate the nation's economic growth.

Therefore, we maintain continuous collaboration as a necessity between educational institutions and industry through the National Seminar on Industrial and Applied Chemistry (SNKIT).

SNKIT aims to:

1. Problem solving and innovation creation in the chemical industry and its applications
2. Build beneficial cooperation between academics, researchers, and industrial practitioners to improve the quality of research in the chemical industry and its applications
