Post-Doctoral, Research Fellow, and Visiting Research Pusat Riset Komputasi BRIN

The Research Center for Computing, Research Organization of Electronics and Informatics, National Research and Innovation Agency of Indonesia (BRIN) are recruiting for research positions:

• Research fellow (5-year appointment, potential to extend)
• Postdoctoral (1-year appointment, potential to 1-year extend)
• Visiting research (1-6 months)

We are developing research activities in various topics:

• Modelling and Simulation: ([email protected]; [email protected])

Modelling and simulation related to surface water waves, climate, and natural-induced disaster (tsunami, flood, landslide); CFD for fluid-structure-seabed interactions and its application on ocean and coastal engineering  

• Parallel Computing and its application: ([email protected]) 

Application of parallel computational methods in heterogeneous environments; Parallelization on computational scientific problems 

• Computational Chemistry: ([email protected]) 

Computational model for solubility; Pipelining for molecular docking and molecular dynamics; Network pharmacology. 

• Scientific Knowledge Engineering: ([email protected]) 

Automatic knowledge annotations for genomic data; Development of multimodal ontology and semantics for genetic resources 

• Bioinformatics and Computational Biology for Life Science and Health: ([email protected]; [email protected])

Bioinformatics research related to sequencing NGS, WGS, Omics analysis, biological database, ontologies, and immunoinformatics. For example: (1) Development of repository platform and multi omics pipeline analysis for life science, agriculture, and health; (2) Metagenomics analysis for human skin microbiome; (3) In silico drug discovery platform using structural protein, molecular docking, and molecular dynamics; Computational Biology research related to: (1) Biological networks; (2) Systems biology; (3) Network biology analysis such as Boolean network and cancer modeling, little to network pharmacology. Both Bioinformatics and Computational Biology cover mathematical model, algorithm, and AI/tools for applied bioinformatics.

Modelling and simulation on astronomy such as N-body simulation for asteroid dynamics; Development of software for astronomy; Developing VLBI correlator and analysing VLBI measurement.
